Анотація. Метою даної статті є з’ясування концептуального бачення Росією України, відображене у її доктринальних документах за пострадянське тридцятиліття. Проведене дослідження показало, що основний вектор еволюції концептуального ставлення Росії до України був спрямований від сприйняття України як дружньої країни з якою варто мати добросусідські відносин чи відносин стратегічного партнерства, як це було у 1990-х рр. за президентства Б. Єльцина, до проголошення території України російськими історичними землями, а самої Української держави загрозою існуванню Російській державі та її суверенітету, як це сталося на четвертому президентському терміні В. Путіна на
початку 2020-х рр. Негативне концептуальне осмислення України з боку російської еліти у її стратегічних документах розпочалось у зв’язку з подіями Помаранчевої революцій 2004 р. та Революції Гідності 2013 – 2014 рр., які були вкрай негативно сприйняті в путінській Росії, де запанували імперсько-реваншистські настрої. Злам інтеграційних планів Кремля щодо України Революцією Гідності спричинив кардинальну зміну доктринального ставлення до неї як до джерела нестабільності на російських кордонах, фактично ворожої та ще й нібито штучно створеної країни («анти-Росії»), на яку Москва дивиться крізь призму стратегічного суперництва із Заходом. У 2021 р. В. Путін повернув у публічний вжиток стару імперську концепцію триєдиного народу, який нібито складається з великоросів, малоросів і білорусів, а тому будь-які спроби зміцнення позицій української мови чи культури на території України у цьому контексті сприймаються у Москві як посягання на
саме існування російського народу, намагання зменшити його чисельність. З 2022 р. Росія почала у своєму імперському дусі трактувати війну проти України як визвольну, спрямовану на визволення російських історичних територій та «російських людей», які на них проживають.
