Анотація. Стаття присвячена дослідженню китайських і європейських заморських в XV ст. Увага приділена причинам подорожей, технологіям, процесам того, як відбувались китайські і португальські експедиції. Також, увага присвячена порівнянню досвідів обох подорожей.
Ключові слова: заморські подорожі, прянощі, технології, торгівля, стратегія зовнішньої політики, економічна вигода, релігія, наслідки взаємодій між державами.
